DESCRIPTION:The Valdres Samband annual Stevne for 2023 will be held in Starbuck\, MN on June 22\, 23 and 24th. This event is open to members and non-members. You can attend one\, two or all three days of this event. As always the costs are very reasonable and children are free. We will soon provide a registration form on this website. If we have your email address\, you will also receive notification when the registration form and online payment is available. \nTHURSDAY June 22\, 2023 \nThursday activities include a tour of the Starbuck Depot and School Museum as well as the Lefse Hall of Fame. Lunch will be served before we travel to nearby Glenwood\, Minnesota. In Glenwood we will tour the Pope Museum and there will be time for those who want to research Pope County. The tour will be followed by a trip to the Rolling Forks Vineyard. \nFRIDAY June 23\, 2023\, Fron Lutheran Church\, Starbuck MN \nRegistration and the Genealogy Room both open at 9am. We have several presentations scheduled  and will be providing lunch\, a rosmal class\, a banquet meal followed by entertainment. \nSATURDAY June 24\, 2023\, Fron Lutheran Church\, Starbuck MN \nGenealogy room is open on Saturday.  Presentations include Knitting/Spinning\, Valdres Architecture. Lunch provided. \nLODGING \nIf you want to make reservations\, we have reserved blocks of rooms at two hotels in Starbuck. DESCRIPTION:The Valdres Samband annual Stevne is back in 2022 and will be a two day event held in Edina MN. The events will be held at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd (masks inside are required) and the event hotel is Homewood Suites by Hilton in Edina ($125 per night group rate). \nThe Stevne will be held on a Friday and Saturday and includes a Genealogy room\, presentations\, three meals\, a silent auction and a banquet on Saturday evening. The costs to attend are very reasonable – $95 for the two day event if you attend both days and participate in all meals offered.
