Hilda Sophie Kringstad, a member of the Valdres Samband for nearly 75 years, serving on the board of directors for over 45 of those years, died July 6, 2007 in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. Hilda served as the Valdres Samband President from 1980 through 1983. She was 93 years, 20 days old (young) when she died in 2007
